- Writing Resource teachers implement the Technology
Curriculum as well as reinforce the Writing Curriculum
at the Elementary Schools.
- Students are familiarized with word processing and
research programs and are taught keyboarding skills as well.
- Students learn to use the computer as they prewrite,
compose, revise, edit and publish.
- Writing Resource teachers help students to improve
their writing skills.
- Lesson objectives may include different types of writing:
functional, expressive/descriptive, narrative,
informative or persuasive.
